Special Kiln Burned Pine Tar is a pure, natural product with a golden color, a low content of pitch, a high content of resin, and a high degree of purity. Kiln Burned Pine Tar is produced in small batches, and because of its purity and its beneficial properties, it is especially sought after for  personal care products as well as other applications.

Special Kiln Burned Pine Tar is produced according to traditional methods in special outdoor burning pits or "dales". Resinous pine wood is carefully chosen, prepared, and laid out in the dale, and it is then covered in earth so that it burns very slowly, resulting in a very pure form of pine tar with a low amount of carbon.

 The Akta Tratjara pine tar has the rich, smokey scent and is made in Sweden.

How to Use:

1. Wet your skin and the soap bar with warm water.

2. Gently lather the soap in your hands or directly on your skin.

3. Apply the lather to your body, focusing on areas that may need extra attention.

4. Massage the soap onto your skin in a circular motion, allowing the exfoliating ingredients to do their work.

5. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.

6. Pat your skin dry and follow with your favorite moisturizer if needed.

Ingredients: Distilled Water, Olive Oil, Organic Virgin Coconut Oil, RSPO Palm,  Kiln Pine Tar, Sodium Hydroxide(Lye), Organic Shea Butter, Avocado Oil, Castor Oil, Chopped Oats, Pumice Powder, Activated Charcoal, Kaolin Clay, Sodium Lactate and Paraben & Phthalate Free Fragrance Oil. 

PLEASE NOTE: Handmade soap will last a long time if kept dry between uses. To extend the life of your soap, use a draining soap dish and keep it away from direct streams of water.
